Tiferes Devorah L’Kallah (TDL), based in Lakewood, New Jersey, is a chesed organization founded in 1997 with the mission of assisting kallahs in setting up their new homes with dignity and joy. Inspired by the legacy of Devorah Jurkanski, a”h, known for her warmth and generosity, TDL ensures that kallahs from financially strained families receive essential household items, allowing them to approach their chuppah with peace of mind.​

TDL provides a comprehensive kallah package that includes a dinette set, kitchen appliances such as a microwave, food processor, toaster oven, and hot water urn, as well as linens, towels, cookware, and other household necessities. These items are selected with care to meet the practical needs of a new home, ensuring that each kallah feels supported during this significant life transition.​

The organization operates a showroom where kallahs can select items in a respectful and dignified environment, guided by compassionate volunteers. This approach not only provides material support but also uplifts the kallah's spirit, reinforcing her sense of self-worth and joy. Additionally, TDL offers a "Care & Share" program, encouraging community members to contribute financially while also participating in a reciprocal Tehillim initiative, fostering communal bonds and shared blessings.​
