Tantzers is a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to uplifting families facing serious medical challenges by infusing joy and normalcy into their lives. Founded in 2010, its mission began with the heartfelt effort to enliven a kallah's wedding, whose mother was gravely ill. This act of chesed blossomed into a multifaceted initiative that now supports thousands of families. Through events, simcha enhancements, hospital visits, and emotional support, Tantzers ensures that families navigating illness feel embraced and supported.

The organization orchestrates a variety of events throughout the year, including major gatherings like the Chanukah Extravaganza, Purim Party, Couples' Night Out, and Mother-Daughter activities. These events are designed to provide families with moments of respite and joy. Regular parties, such as birthday celebrations and barbeques, offer opportunities for families to connect and create positive memories. Additionally, Tantzers organizes trips to activities like bowling and laser tag, allowing children to experience moments of carefree enjoyment.

Recognizing the ongoing needs of children with ill family members, Tantzers established the Tantzers Family Center. This center offers daily structure and support, providing a safe space for children to engage in games, complete homework, and receive emotional guidance. Trained volunteers offer chizuk, helping children process their experiences and emotions. Beyond the center, Tantzers conducts weekly hospital visits, bringing music, gifts, and companionship to patients. Support groups and retreats are also organized, offering parents and caregivers opportunities to connect and find solace among peers facing similar challenges.

Tantzers plays a pivotal role in enhancing simchas for families affected by illness. Whether it's arranging music and photographers for weddings or ensuring a lively atmosphere at bar mitzvahs, the organization steps in to make these occasions memorable. With a dedicated team of volunteers, Tantzers brings energy and joy to over 60 weddings annually, ensuring that each simcha is celebrated fully, regardless of the family's circumstances.
