Staten Island Shomrim (SISP) is a volunteer-based organization established in 2011, dedicated to enhancing the safety and security of Staten Island's Jewish community. Functioning as vigilant observers, SISP members conduct nightly patrols, serving as a crucial complement to local emergency services. Their presence acts as a deterrent to potential criminal activities and provides immediate assistance during emergencies.
