Neshumah is a Torah-aligned mental health advocacy organization established in 2019 by frum mental health professionals. Its mission is to normalize and make mental health treatment more accessible within the heimishe community by providing psychoeducation on prevention and intervention. Neshumah offers community outreach and education, including media podcasts, awareness publications, conferences, events, and rabbinical collaboration. It also serves as a liaison with agencies and kehillos to promote mental health awareness and support. ​

For professionals, Neshumah provides a platform for networking, rabbinical guidance, advocacy, clinician collaboration, professional development, retreats, and support for students and paraprofessionals. The organization hosts a Listserv, known as the Heimishe Mental Health Professionals Group, to connect mental health professionals within the community. This group aims to create a safe space for sharing ideas, resources, training information, referrals, and discussing topics sensitive to the community and its hashkafos.

Neshumah's projects include the "Kol Mevaser" weekly Yiddish podcast, where various clinical topics are discussed by heimishe mental health professionals. They have also published camp safety booklets in English and Yiddish and launched the "Kol HaNeshumah" coping helpline during COVID-19 to assist the community in dealing with the pandemic's impact. ​

The organization regularly hosts events such as the Neshumah Networking and Chizuk Events, providing opportunities for professional development and community support. These events are designed to offer valuable insights and foster a sense of unity among participants.
