MEOR is a national campus-based organization focused on cultivating a vibrant Jewish future through leadership development and immersive Jewish education. It primarily engages undergraduate students at top-tier universities across the United States, providing them with structured opportunities to explore Jewish thought, tradition, and values in a way that is intellectually compelling and personally relevant. Through these programs, MEOR aims to inspire a new generation of educated and committed Jewish leaders.

The organization’s key initiatives revolve around multi-tiered learning programs that progress in depth and commitment. These include weekly classes and discussion groups, mentorship with educators, immersive learning retreats, and Israel trips. The MEOR Maimonides Leaders Fellowship is a core offering that provides an in-depth introduction to Jewish philosophy, ethics, and heritage, while cultivating leadership skills and a strong personal identity. Graduates of the Fellowship can advance into more intensive study tracks such as the MEOR Vision Fellowship or participate in advanced learning trips and internships in Israel.

MEOR places a strong emphasis on building relationships through one-on-one learning and mentoring with educators, creating a model of personal growth supported by community. Its programs are designed to be both high-level and highly relational, attracting intellectually curious and leadership-minded students. The organization’s approach combines rigorous study with experiential learning, often including Shabbat experiences, community service opportunities, and long-term leadership development.

MEOR currently operates on more than 20 elite campuses across the U.S., with presence at institutions such as the University of Pennsylvania, Harvard, Columbia, and the University of Maryland. Its reach continues to grow, with a focus on students who are high-achieving and likely to become influential in both Jewish and general spheres of society. Through strategic partnerships and scalable educational models, MEOR works to ensure that its alumni remain actively involved in Jewish life beyond college.
