Hatzalah Statewide is a volunteer-driven emergency medical initiative designed to provide rapid response and support for individuals experiencing medical emergencies outside of established Hatzalah-serviced communities. Recognizing that emergencies can occur while traveling or in areas without local Hatzalah coverage, this program bridges the gap by dispatching trained responders to assist until local EMS arrives. The organization leverages a network of over 500 medical professionals worldwide, ensuring that aid is available even in remote or unfamiliar locations.

In the event of an emergency, individuals are advised to first contact 911 to initiate local emergency services. Subsequently, they should call Hatzalah Statewide at (201) 613-1111. The dispatcher will identify and send the nearest available Hatzalah-trained responder to the scene. These responders provide immediate care, stabilize patients, and coordinate with arriving EMS personnel, ensuring a seamless transition and continuity of care. This dual-response approach enhances the effectiveness of emergency interventions, particularly in areas lacking immediate Hatzalah presence.

Hatzalah Statewide operates under the guidance of coordinators from various regional Hatzalah chapters, including Central Jersey, Essex County, and the Jersey Shore. This collaborative framework ensures that the organization's protocols and training standards are consistent with those of established Hatzalah divisions. By uniting resources and expertise from multiple regions, Hatzalah Statewide maintains a high level of readiness and professionalism in its emergency response efforts.

The organization is based out of New Jersey, serving as a central hub for its nationwide and international operations. Through community support and donations, Hatzalah Statewide continues to expand its reach and capabilities, reinforcing its commitment to providing lifesaving assistance wherever and whenever it is needed.
