Post-Seminary Support
Brooklyn, NY, USA
Lechu V’Nelcha (LVN) is a global initiative established in 1995 to support post-seminary Bais Yaakov graduates in maintaining their spiritual growth. With over 30 branches worldwide, LVN offers weekly shiurim led by esteemed mechanchim and mechanchos, providing a consistent framework for continued learning and inspiration. These sessions are accessible both in-person and via teleconference, catering to young women navigating the challenges of shidduchim, the workforce, and daily life.
Beyond weekly learning, LVN organizes bi-annual Shabbatons across the USA, Eretz Yisrael, Europe, and Australia. These events offer participants an opportunity to recharge spiritually and emotionally in a warm, growth-oriented environment. Attendees benefit from lectures by renowned speakers, engaging workshops, and recreational activities, fostering both personal development and lasting friendships.
LVN also hosts annual summer retreats, providing a 10-day immersive experience in settings like the Alps. These retreats blend relaxation with spiritual enrichment, featuring breathtaking landscapes, stimulating day trips, and evening programs. Esteemed personalities join to offer guidance and inspiration, helping participants rejuvenate and gain clarity in their personal journeys.
Throughout the year, LVN coordinates special events aligned with the Jewish calendar, including Chanukah parties, pre-Purim package assemblies for hachnasas kallah, and Melaveh Malkah gatherings. Chol Hamoed trips offer enjoyable and inspirational outings, reinforcing communal bonds. Additionally, LVN assists in shidduchim by inviting participants to submit resumes, which are handled with utmost discretion, and by organizing Tehillim lists for davening at mekomos hakedoshim.
