Ani Ledodi
Marital Intimacy Support
Location Served: USA
Ani Ledodi Helpline is a confidential referral and support line for frum women seeking guidance around marital intimacy. The helpline is designed for women at all stages of married life who have questions or difficulties related to physical intimacy, emotional comfort, or changes over time. Calls are anonymous and handled without caller ID, allowing women to speak openly in a private, non-judgmental setting.
The line is staffed by trained female volunteers with backgrounds in taharas hamishpacha, sexual health, and marriage therapy. Callers receive a listening ear, validation, and practical guidance, along with help clarifying their concerns so they can take an appropriate next step. The helpline offers referrals to trusted professionals such as OB/GYNs, sex therapists, nurse practitioners, kallah teachers, and Bodekets who are familiar with halacha and the sensitivities of the Orthodox community.
In addition to medical and therapeutic referrals, Ani Ledodi Helpline connects women with Rabbonim who are known for their discretion and understanding of complex, personal situations. The advisors themselves do not pasken; rather, they help frame the questions and then direct callers to appropriate halachic and professional resources. The helpline operates within a clear Torah framework under rabbinic oversight, aiming to integrate halachic, emotional, and physical considerations.
The range of issues addressed includes painful intimacy, anxiety or discomfort around the mitzvah, postpartum changes, fertility-related concerns, menopause, shana rishona challenges, and questions that surface even after many years of marriage. The service also supports women who feel confused after receiving conflicting guidance and are looking for clarity from sensitive, knowledgeable sources. Across all calls, the emphasis is on privacy, dignity, and alignment with the caller’s hashkafic background.
