Kosher Response is a community initiative that distributes kosher meals to individuals and families facing food insecurity. The organization was originally launched during the COVID-19 pandemic and continues to address hunger by coordinating food deliveries to those in need. It aims to provide support in a dignified manner, helping recipients put meals on the table during times of financial strain.

The organization partners with local kosher restaurants and small businesses to prepare and distribute meals, thereby simultaneously supporting both struggling families and local vendors. Kosher Response operates a meal sponsorship system where contributors can fund the cost of meals, and the organization handles the delivery. This model allows community members to actively participate in helping others through financial donations directed toward specific food packages.

In addition to helping individuals and families, Kosher Response also runs a program that delivers kosher meals to frontline workers and first responders, including doctors, nurses, EMS, hospital staff, and police officers. These packages serve as a gesture of appreciation to those who put themselves at risk for public safety, while also continuing the initiative’s original mission from the pandemic era.

Discover. SUPPORT. CONNECT.
At Bridge to the Heart, we believe that tzedakah should be about connection, not attention. In a world where fundraising often leans on marketing tactics, grand campaigns, and external incentives, we aim to bring the focus back to the cause itself—the work being done and the lives being impacted. We provide a direct and transparent way to discover and support Orthodox Jewish organizations. No elaborate events, no expectations—just a place to find causes that align with your values and give because you believe in their mission. With Bridge to the Heart, you can search by name, category, or location to explore organizations that matter to you. Our goal is to reshape the culture of giving, making generosity a reflection of personal conviction rather than outside influence. Tzedakah is about heart, not hype. Let’s bring it back to what truly matters.
